I find solace in the full moon. It's a sort of energy cleanser for me. When the skies are clear, I like to sit outside under the glow of the full moon. It couldn't have come at a better time this month.
Do you have anything that recharges your energy? Is there something that you do that helps you when you're 'out of sorts'?

The beach, or more correctly, the ocean. I find a peace and a calm like no other when I'm faced with the beach, especially at night!
Oh wow, where to start, I too love the beach and the water. large bodys of water or perferably the ocean really charge me, as Iam Cancer. The Full moon as well is also very charging to me, But I really like thunder storms, I sometimes climb to the highest point and sit and watch them. One particular time I remember feeling the electricity in my head and hair every time lightning struck. I was on the roof of a 15 story building.
Oh yes the Ocean and also lightning storms are major 'rechargers' for me but the moon works her magic on me like no other. I look forward to a nice, quiet evening outside tonight under the full moon after the girls are in bed. I can't wait!
I wish i could enjoy the ocean for my time of rejuvination....here in illinois..not so lucky...I run or I get creative. Make something that makes me smile or when I run, its hard for me but it clears my mind and recharges me completely because of it
Nature itself is very appealing and recharging to me. I like the quietness of the wilderness or a forest. Any body of water is also something I can find such solice in. I think in another life I would like to live in the wilderness and thrive off of nature!
I have the ocean nearby but not so close that I could just turn around and see it.
I like to be at myself and just do whatever I like with nothing that has to be done and just rumbling through my scrapbook stuff and just seeing how it will go. Unfortunately the time I can do that is limited.
Thank goodness I do also thrive on Nordic Walking. I am not much of an outgoing person but being there in the dunes and among the trees...
On a differet topic:
Are not the Lakota Idians In Canada as well? In Alberta? no, mabe? anyways Ya I know of the Lakota tribe, not personally, but on an educational level purly:) I know there was two great wars that they lived through while other tribes did not. One was against other tribes, where entire tribes where wiped out and lands stolen. There was also entire tribes of Idians that where wiped out when White man fist came to the new world, or in their case, the Indian world. But the Lakota tribe proved to be most powerful and survived two mass killing of Idian and tribes alike.
The Lakota was vey strong, in battle and Magick and medician. I would be proud to call my self a Lakota, I live in Canada and have a great respect for Idians, (not common among whites here) but they remind me of the way the celtic, my family do things. With honouring earth and nature as well as God and Goddess, trying to tred lightly, and not raping the land...anyways I just thought I'd share that, I really have a deep respect for all Indian tribes.
The Sioux are a very proud people who have withstood a lot of hardships. They are a strong people with deep tradition.
You know, that's something I hadn't thought about...but you're right, they remind me, too, of the Celtic and Geals as well. The deep rooted traditions is an excellent example!
I love the moon too--especially on a cloudless night, and especially when it's a harvest moon. So pretty!
Yep, love the beach too--absolutely!
And I also love taking a good, hot, bubble bath. Always calms me down and refreshes me!
Then there's a good pina colada or martini (combined with the beach or a bubble bath is good!)
Then there's hanging out with girlfriends and laughing like kids!!
For me, it's either ANY body of water, especially when it's dark-ish or plain dark, OR FIRE. I love to sit in the dark, with a nice fire and a good clanket, just listening to the logs on fire... I have a fascination with both, water and fire. Two contradicting elements per se, just like myself, I guess!
