BLACK FRIDAY!!!!

Ok, today's Black Friday. To some it is considered 'THE' shopping day of the year. To other's it's a day to stay home and OFF the roads. The crowds are un-friggin'-real and the traffic is even worse. I drove 11 miles to visit my cousin who is visiting from San Diego for a few days. The 11 miles to her hotel took me over an HOUR. The roads are congested with giddy-shoppers on their cell phones, eating fast food, who are pumped with sale-provoked adrenaline.
Stay home if you're sane. If you're insane.... I hope you atleast get a good deal or 2!

Ya I really do not do crowds on the best of days...That sounds like my personal hell. Not only do I dislike crowds, but shopping for anything is like tourture to me.

Is there any religious background on black friday, or is this just some medifor so getting us to buy more shit.. LOL

I really don't do that shopping after Thanksgiving thing. About three years ago, my sister convinced me to do it, and I still regret I did. So crowded, rude people all over, pushing...
I must admit, though, my friend got her Cricut and an extra cartridge for $130 (or so she said). I wouldn't go and stand on line, not even for that! (well, it helps that I've had mine ever since it came out, lol!! And the cartridges where at a very good price, still, I two I wanted for $80!)

I do NOT do the day-after-Thanksgiving shopping! DH and I tried it once and didn't really get the amazing deals, fought huge crowds, and then were still sleepy when it was all over with! LOL Just not worth it . .
So, I'll start doing my shopping in earnest this next week!

I've done the 'black Friday' thing and I was impressed. This year I stayed home and slept in ... much better and much more calming!

Not a black Friday fan myself either and like I had mentioned in one of my posts, what seemed to be the hottest item up for a steal was some plasma TV (big whippie!)

LOOOOOVE LOOOOOVE your picture! You are one HOTTIE MAMMA!!

XO!!!
